With ongoing project management experience in overseas livelihood development and directorship within grassroots charities, as well as an acute interest in raising awareness of matters of social justice, Leila has always been devoted towards giving marginalised groups a voice.
In the Northern region, Leila has become known for her grassroots campaigning efforts and is increasingly approached by organisations, academics and activists to deliver speeches, facilitate panels and conduct workshops on matters concerning human rights and social justice.

Her energetic, outgoing and hard-working nature as well as her dedication to engage people from all walks of life in discussions that have implications for progressive change is what makes her an invaluable member of any team.

With an LLB in European Legal Studies and an MA in Applied Human Rights, Leila is currently working towards pursuing a career in
human rights law.
