Booked 3 weeks in advance for valentines as you do! Being the busiest night of the year! Got to the restaurant packed no tables (small spot) went to the lady at the bar who looked stunned as to why we were there, told her we had a table booked for 6pm, our names were on the list. Then got told to sit at the stools by the window while she asks the manager. Then she comes over says there isn’t any tables available, ok! Then proceeds to ask a family at the big table if we can sit on the end of there table, really romantic for a valentines meal. So we left! Then to be messaged with a lie saying we were told to wait 10-15 minutes and offered a round of free drinks while we wait which we weren’t! Won’t be going back!

Some of the nicest food I have had in a long time. Everything was spot on. Great cocktails too. The staff were great, friendly and very helpful. A small (advise booking) quint place show casing an amazing locals female art work. Highly recommend. Can't wait to be back over this way and go again.

Absolutely excellent food every time at this fabulous restaurant. The staff and owner are always great, friendly and really welcoming right from the first week it opened. Extremely dog friendly too. Word of warning make sure you’re hungry when you go so you can eat all of the awesome tasty food the owner Ben produces to a very high standard.

Nice place that is very dog friendly. I had a fantastic fillet stake that was cooked perfectly 👌. The only thing I will say is the stake came with the sauce poured over where I would normally expect it separate, the onion rings were also a little poor but don't let that detract from the fantastic stake! My wife had an equally good cheese burger. The chocolate fudge cake desert was also fantastic. Really good place that is certainly worth a visit and is a credit to Filey. We will be back!
