Konak Meze Turkish Restaurant Harrogate

A lovely restaurant with very reasonable prices (we had the lunch menu). Really suprised it wasn't busier... The staff were lovely and helpful and the food was delicious. Would definitely visit again. Meze options were plentiful and all excellent.

Where do I start…….. Me and my beautiful partner have been here twice now and did not disappoint at all. Just as we remembered, if not better. Upon arrival and entry to the building we were greeted with such warm hearts and a cosy environment. Was taken to our table which was perfect as do love the extra space. After being seated we were comfortably able to get sorted which I also loved and was not ushered into ordering drinks, they were very polite and patient. We ordered drinks and to be honest me and my partner already knew what we wanted so we went ahead and placed our order with no hesitation. We ordered the “Konak mix grill for 2” with an extra portion of rice and a side of their homemade pide bread, and for desert we had their mouthwatering “Baklava”. It took about 20 minutes for us to receive our food but let me tell you the food was incredible just as we remembered! Konak mix grill for 2, consisted of lamb sheesh, chicken sheesh, lamb kofta, chicken kofta, grilled wings, lamb chops, rice, seasoned potatoes, hot sauce and tzatziki. This all was incredibly fresh and delicious. The meats were so juicy, well cooked, well flavoured. Rice was soaked in the meat juice which elevated the flavours to a whole new level, the potato’s were so tasty with a fluffy interior and crispy outer layer. The baklava was also on a whole other level. Beautifully presented and served, amazing texture tasted so authentic just like from Turkey. Perfect way to end our incredible meal. Food = 10/10 ( If I could I would rate it 1000/10) Service = 10/10 Atmosphere = 10/10 Price = 9/10 (Baklava felt a little expensive for what you get served) Over all = 10/10 - definitely will be back.

Konak Meze is a fantastic spot in Harrogate – the starters were super fresh and full of flavour, and the lamb was cooked perfectly, really tender and juicy. Friendly service and a great atmosphere too, will definitely be back.

A weekend break in Harrogate for the RHS late show at Harlow Carr. Hadn't booked a restaurant but remembered a great meal some years ago. Well this one was every bit as memorable, good conversation with the manager and as expected, excellent service. all 3 of us had different starters and mains so a fair amount of tasting, enjoyable! Nice house wine and good value, all round a most enjoyable evening

The restaurant boasts a cozy atmosphere and exceptionally friendly service. However, in terms of food flavors, it falls short of being among my top 5 Turkish restaurants in the UK. The beef and chicken skewers are disappointingly chewy, and the Turkish bread is merely average. While the ambiance is pleasant, the cuisine doesn't quite meet expectations for a standout Turkish dining experience.
