LILYPAD

I organised a surprise birthday party for my daughter and we booked Lilypad as the venue. We had 35 guests, every single guest thought the venue, the food, the drinks and the service was outstanding. I don’t think I could’ve booked a better venue, the team are so friendly, the venue is so lovely and they were extremely accommodating to our every need. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back and have dinner there.

Amazing evening at Lilypad. Food was absolutely delicious, drinks were lovely, the atmosphere was nice and chilled and the service was brilliant. Would definitely recommend a visit and the pickled aubergine that needs to be but in jars and sold!! 5 🌟

Harrogate’s best restaurant. If you want great food- go here! I miss London a lot and it definitely feeds that need for a bit more of a fun and diverse crowd, easy going and chilled pub. With surprisingly high end unique and delicious food while still feeling like your welcoming local. A dream team as well! We Love it so much, we decided to have our engagement party here. Came here for lunch when the restaurant was fairly quiet, with only two or three tables occupied including ours. The waiter was very friendly, but unfortunately the food service was a major letdown. We ordered five dishes and it took around 20 minutes per dish to come out. It took nearly an hour just for the fries and duck to arrive. After we mentioned the delay, we were told the food was being worked on, the kitchen staff appeared to be chatting rather than busy. We were then informed it would take another 20 minutes for the remaining dishes. When the food finally arrived, it was generally overly salted with a strong ginger taste. The prices felt high for a small restaurant on the outskirts of Harrogate, charging London-level prices.

Always an absolute delight at Lilypad. The team / family are legends. Always friendly, fun and helpful. The food is amazing. Unlike anything in the area. You can tell the chef has travelled and taken inspiration from different cuisines (Indian, Thai, Japanese, Korean , Filipino, South American and more).
