Authentic Stories from Diners
Had an amazing meal here on Thursday night. Staff were so helpful and efficient. The food was freshly cooked and well presented. We had calamari and zucchini fries to share then both had the lamb chops for mains absolutely delicious cooked pink as we requested with lovely Mediterranean veg. Bottle of Primativo which was lovely water topped up as evening went along. We will Def return when in Harrogate again.
A wonderfully relaxed piece of the Mediterranean awaits you on the streets of Harrogate. Food is freshly cooked and is a high standard. Staff are polite, friendly and knowledgeable. An absolute must if you are visiting Harrogate.
We found this place on Google and managed to get a booking a few hours before. It was a wonderful evening. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious, authentic food. The owner was lovely and took time to talk to us. We would definitely visit again.
Dinner at Oliveta down Station Parade today. Bottle of wine, couple of other drinks, starters, mains and desserts for 4 for less than £200 (inc 10% service charge) and exceptional food and a great host. Burek, Calamari and King Prawn starters hot, tasty, full of herb and spicy flavours and with just the right size starter plate to wet your whistle… Gyros, Tave Kusi, Veggie Aubergines and an incredible Carbonara for mains were huge, filling, full of delicious meats and flavours and again the right size for a really good main course. Can certainly recommend the best lamb dish I’ve eaten in Harrogate being the Tave Kusi. Huge chunks of the most perfectly cooked lamb I’ve ever had. Baklava for desert - light, sweet, delicate and with a delicious lemon honey flavour that is neither heavy, sticky or any of those “stodgy” deserts; simply sweet and delicate. Wine was reasonably priced for HG town centre restaurants and for a soaking wet Thursday night our host and service was friendly, chatty and just a lovely family business. Pictures don’t do the meals justice - this is somewhere you have to tuck in to the food to know how good it is. A 10/10 for ourselves - each one of us walked away with a smile and full bellies. Proper hospitality.
This restaurant is by far my favorite restaurant, and I've been to many. The food is amazing, the staff is so friendly and personable, and the atmosphere is legit. It's an Albanian restaurant, but they serve a wide array of dishes, including thr best chicken gyros I've had in my life, literally. The owner is the nicest guy who remembers us every time we come for dinner and is always kind and goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. The staff is super friendly and take great care of every need you have, very attentative. If you're ever in Harrogate, you MUST check it out!
