We were visiting Harrogate for an overnight break and were just passing and place looked great from the outside. We didn’t have a booking and just chanced it. Wow, what a truly pleasant welcome from the young guy as we came in. Shown to a window table and sat. The waiter chap was truly pleasant and very respectful to give us sufficient time to choose drinks and food and gave us recommendations too. Drinks came and then starters and main course. Tremendous tasty cuisine and filled us up. Genuine amazing dining experience and very good value for money too. And we got a cheeky free ouzo! Thoroughly recommend this place for service and amazingly tasty food.

I finally tried this establishment after passing by for far too long! Very welcoming, attentive and a well produced menu. The chicken souvlaki was delicious and the wine menu diverse. As a solo diner I had an amazing experience. See you all soon at Taverna Harrogate. 💯

Booked here last minute on 10/09/25. Restaurant was relatively quiet being earlier in the week. I had the spicy lamb kofta to start and mixed grill for 1. Both dishes were superb. Grilled perfectly and full of flavour. Wife ordered rib eye steak but the chef wasn't happy with the size of the ribeye and an alternate option of sirloin was offered. Wife wasn't disappointed, it was excellent. Overall, highly recommend this place for authentic, delicious Greek food. Very friendly helpful staff too. I'll be back.

The staff here are incredible. Genuinely some of the kindest, positive and lovely waitstaff I have met! They made our dining experience so enjoyable. The food was lovely, a great selection is available. The restaurant is delightful, the inside is done-up nicely and the music added a lovely atmosphere. I hope to be back :)

Went here for tea. As you walk in, you are greeted by a friendly member of the team, and it gets better from there. All the staff are great and welcoming. Food is amazing with great choices of greek cuisine and a great atmosphere. Would be wise to book, as although not over busy when we went, i imagine it can be.
