Wow Want a fish restaurant in Harrogate then you will not beat this. Food & service were fantastic Recommend Queen scallops, Tuna scallop sesame for starters Smoked Haddock, Hake for mains. Baked Alaska is unreal for desert. Quality

Excellent meal on Thursday Feb 19. I had smoked scallop and crab crostini followed by king prawn and crab linguine and my partner had moules, garlic, shallots in a cream sauce followed by smoked haddock, mash, pancetta, mustard sauce and a poached egg. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Recommended 👌

I had lunch at Drum and Monkey with my family. The portion sizes were decent and good value, but unfortunately the food itself was quite tasteless and lacked seasoning and depth of flavour, which was disappointing. Perhaps I should’ve chosen a different main. That said, I absolutely cannot fault the service. Our waitress, Maria, was amazing — warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome throughout the meal. Her service was the highlight of the visit and really elevated the experience despite the food not quite delivering.

A fantastic restaurant in the centre of Harrogate - tucked away and very private, but food is delicious and the service warm and friendly. If you like fish, this is the place to visit! We'll definitely be back for one of their platters on a sunny summer's evening!

Perfect. This was just the ticket.... delicious food (seafood is the speciality, but there were non-seafood vegetarian options too) and friendly staff. I loved the decor, the background music and really enjoyed the lunchtime menu. I had the smoked scallop and crab terrine to start, followed by the delicious fish pie, topped with a generous layer of crispy cheese and a crisp white wine.
