The service was excellent and the portion size pretty enormous. Great value for money. I'll dine there again next time I visit Hawes.

The best Fish and chips anywhere we have been. Really good crispy batter, as it should be.

The best chip shop in the area! The food was so good, I forgot to take a picture until I was halfway through... Safe to say, everything is delicious, freshly made, and high quality. There is a long queue every evening for dinner so get there in good time, even if you want takeaway. The queue is closed at 8pm, but they usually continue serving until the existing queue has been served. There is a free car park with public toilets only a minute walk up the road.

Wow wow wow! Large servings and the cod was amazing! The best part for me was the curry sauce which was magnificent! Ordered a 2nd round of it. Manage to dine in on a Sat Evening & saw a queue for takeaways! It feels like Chippies is making the town feel alive! Must try when in Hawes!
