The Fountain Hotel

One of my favourite pubs in Hawes - but unfortunately like others 🤣, as timing was key to get a seat. Spent a few different sessions in here over New Year for drinks only. A lively and loud atmosphere, full of characters and locals. Good beers. Sport on the TV’s if that is what you want (including “Racing Corner” 🤣🤣) Highly recommended.

Stayed in Hawes over Christmas and visited a couple of times. The staff were all so friendly and deserve a shout out! Great mulled wine, relaxed atmosphere, fires, & a great place to relax with a pint. Would recommend and hope to visit again. 10/10

The place to be in Hawes, great service, great food and clearly by local support, many people think the same. The village has 4 really good pubs, which is unusual, but in my opinion this is the best.

Had a lovely meal with my husband on a Mon Evening whilst staying just outside of Hawes. Staff very friendly, food was delicious, we had the steak pie. Huge portions, very tasty! Fire roaring, Christmas decorations up. Mulled wine on sale. Very good prices for the amount of food and the quality. Will go again.

Great value for single room b&b and a nice pub. The room was clean and comfortable and a good breakfast. I had dinner in the bar and it was delicious. The bar staff also allowed the head on my beer to settle before topping it up and handing it to me. Great place to stay.
