Authentic Stories from Diners
We always have a great time here and, in the last few months, the speed of service has improved greatly The event evenings are fun and relatively inexpensive (we especially like that Pasta & Prosecco pottery nights), and offer something different to do for those visiting the area I would say, most of the time, booking would be essential
Really nice cafe! We came in for lunch and ordered the Cajun chicken wrap and the hot honey halloumi sourdough. The Cajun chicken was delicious, but the hot honey was far too sweet. The service was timely and generally nice! Atmosphere was cute and seemed busy all day!
Such a treat this place. We only popped in for some lunch but turns out we could do pottery painting as well! What was going to be a quick spot for lunch, turned into a two hour crafting session. The food was lovely and came out in good time. The choices for pottery painting were excellent and the staff were more than happy to explain the process. As we weren’t local to the area, they also offer a postal option so you can receive your pottery after it has been in Kiln!
We only had drinks, they were great. Relaxed & great staff. The painting of the clay was the best thing about the place, different shapes, sizes & prices from big dogs & dragons to little butterfly & flower. It was a great service & fun. Have recommend it to friends. They kiln fire & glaze it then you can collect or have it posted to you.
What a lovely creative space to eat, drink, and craft! We popped in several times before and after our dog walks on the moors. It was so good to see a good offering of vegan options, whether it be breakfasts, sandwiches, or cakes. All of the staff were super warm, friendly, and helpful ... It's what makes you want to return. The only suggestion I would give is to have dog treats for sale, as there were lots of dogs each time we visited 🐾
