Authentic Stories from Diners
Can’t express how much of a fantastic gem this place is. From the warm welcome when you walk in, to the great service and stunning food - it’s a must. We had one of the meet and cheese boards and French onion soup to start, followed by mushroom and lentils and raclette. We also ordered some chorizo, which was stunning. The waitress was great and thank you for a lovely evening.
I strongly recommend visiting Pave whilst in Haworth. The food was lovely, and I especially enjoy french dining paired with a good choice of wine. Definitely ask for recommendations on this. I only give four stars on service due to having booked but still having to wait on a table. It was incredibly busy and hot and made for a slightly less enjoyable experience, but I am nitpicking here. The four stars for food may well be down to personal choice for the evening and the busy hour in which we decided to dine. Having said that we will most definitely be visiting again, and leaving another review in the future. The camembert was especially good.
Wow, what a lovely restaurant with a great selection of charcuterie as well as sandwich/other deli options. The staff were lovely, although it did get very busy on the Saturday afternoon, so would recommend booking! The food was quick to come and reasonably priced. Good wine selection too.
Another Haworth local gem, this traditional bistro cum deli has the gallic-vibes dialled up to 11. Located right in heart of Bronte village itself at the top of Main Street, it’s renowned for 'choose you own' cheese and meat boards; quaint stew pots (chasseurs and bourguignon etc); the rather fun raclette grill (pictured) and many more trad’ French dishes - even L’escargot for the more adventurous! Friendly staff, extensive wine list - most avail’ by the glass and dog-friendly, much like Haworth itself, it’s a warm, atmospheric hug from start to finish.
We decided to spend the day in Haworth and stopped at Pavé for a late lunch what a great decision! The service was excellent professional yet warm and friendly. The food was delicious and the atmosphere wonderful. The French onion soup was perfectly balanced, rich, and deeply satisfying, and we really enjoyed the cheese and meat board. Altogether it was a memorable experience. Pavé is a real gem and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Haworth.
