The Black Bull Haworth

The place is only good for a pint. Everyone is on top of one another. We got some lunch that it was massively overpriced. They charged us 17£ per meal for the tiniest portions and half of the food was microwaved or burnt. The waitress came and took some of our plates while half of us were still eating and the service was generally bad. Really would not recommend it for food.

Stayed at the blackbull twice now on a weekend if you dont want the noise off the dj /karaoke dont go on a Saturday night ..we were fully aware off the noise and dint bover us (maybe to much to drink😂) .the rooms could do with a update but fine for us one night nice and warm and comfy bed .breakfast was great and plentiful. Bar service a little slow .but the nachos for sharing was 😋lovely. All in all we as a couple would definitely go back ..brilliant location lovely old inn .😊

Booked a table for 3, reception was great, seating was great, happy to wait 35 minutes as advised. Food turned up, looked very good, asked for extra gravy which was an additional £2, couple of minutes later the server returned to tell me I had to pay for the gravy before they would serve it! Nope, she didn’t bring the card reader to the table so I could eat, I had to go the bar and wait to be served! The food wasn’t hot when originally served, returning to then an even colder meal was extremely disappointing! Food tasted great but cold! Would I return, No!!

Called in for some lunch today (Sunday 18th Jan). The food was excellent we both ordered starters and a main each. I had the Sunday roast beef lunch and my partner ordered the pork off the main menu. Starters arrived in good time and was delicious. After the starters it did take a long time for the mains to arrive. However it does state on the menu that every meal is made to order. We was so happy to have lunch here the food was excellent and we would definitely come back here when visiting haworth.

When we arrived the bar staff were friendly. We ordered a sunday tea and the pork belly main. We also got a starter each. The menu clearly stated it would take time as each meal is made to order, and even though we waited a little longer for the mains to arrive, they and the starters where deffo worth the wait! The prices for what we ordered where good value. 👍 would really recommend if your looking for a sunday lunch.
