Excellent food and service. Certainly enough on your plate to fill you up. You go to the counter to order and they bring your food to you at the table. Most of what is on the main menu is available after 12 noon and they also have separate lunch menu and specials board.

Popped in for breakfast on our way home from the Yorkshire spa retreat, and wow! I had the full English breakfast and my wife had the vegetarian breakfast with a pot of tea for two with an extra jug of hot water to top the pot up, both were absolutely delicious, the service was excellent and the background music was soft rock so it couldn't have been any better for us, the service was very quick and the staff were so friendly it made our day! We will be back soon.

Decent looking large licensed cafe. You order and pay for your food at the counter and collect your drinks. When your food is ready they bring it to your table. I was a little underwhelmed with my steak pie, chips, peas and gravy, so much so that I didn't take a photo. Small bought in pie mostly crust with a little steak, frozen chips and peas, gravy poor. We were starving so it filled a hole and we left, no check back.

We was in Helmsley on Friday and visited the bakery next door about 11.00am the garden of the cafe was already full good sign we came back later and just managed to get a table outside has we had our dog 🐶 with us although the cafe is dog friendly both inside and outside we ordered tea for two scampi’s and salad and steak pie peas chips and gravy yummy from the specials menu yummy great friendly service highly recommended

Lovely cooked breakfast with sausage, bacon and black pudding hash brown, beans, mushrooms, tomato and good quality toast, and great value (£12.50). Modern clean interior, cosy and warm. Very welcoming. Free Wifi and Dog Friendly!!
