Authentic Stories from Diners
First time experiencing Tattu Leeds and it did not disappoint. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, even on a busy Saturday afternoon we never felt like the customer service was lacking. The restaurant itself was also stunning. Our waiter/server Ryan did a fabulous job at making our experience one to remember. He was very knowledgeable on all the food and drinks, giving excellent recommendations! We can’t wait to re-visit soon!
Have been here a few times, it has beautiful interior and has a very upmarket feel. On our latest visit we were seated quite hastily by the host but the service swiftly improved from our waitress. The menu has some really interesting Chinese inspired dishes but the prices reflect the surroundings and are quite expensive. Overall we had a nice meal, our gyozas and prawn toast starters were amazing and the prawn king po and chicken angry bird were good but were a bit over powering by the end.
Absolutely incredible! The food is full of flavour and beautifully presented, melt in the mouth meats. Everything we tried was delicious, and the staff were super attentive, professional, and great at explaining the flavours and dishes. The service really elevated the whole experience. A fantastic restaurant for events or as a special treat, perfect for celebrations, date nights, or when you just want to spoil yourself. Easily my new favourite restaurant in Leeds, can’t wait to go back.
What a meal. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and the food lives up to the setting. We were served by Deriel, who was extremely attentive and made the experience even more enjoyable. A big bonus is that they offer halal options. Here’s what we ordered: Lobster and Prawn Toast – Delicious bite-sized rounds coated in toasted sesame seeds and served with a light lime foam. 10/10 Chinese BBQ Chicken – Perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and served with a small portion of roasted vegetables. 9/10 Kung Po Prawns – A generous portion of spicy, saucy, batter-coated prawns served with roasted lotus root. The lotus root was excellent, but the prawns weren’t quite to my taste. 5/10 Vegetable Fried Rice – A generous portion of flavourful, well-cooked fried rice. 9/10 Pear Sticky Toffee Pudding – Served with toffee sauce and a scoop of ice cream. Nicely done, but a little too heavy for my taste. 6/10 Cherry Blossom – A true showstopper. A candy floss and dark chocolate blossom tree set on a mousse and biscuit garden. 10/10 Overall, a great dining experience with standout presentation and attentive service. Would definitely recommend.
Recently ate at Tattu Leeds to celebrate a special occasion, and from the moment we arrived, it felt like the perfect choice. We began with drinks at the bar, where Paisly, the mixologist, set the tone beautifully. She was friendly, professional, and instantly welcoming, creating that ideal first impression that carried through the rest of our dining experience. Once seated, we were taken care of by Connor, who was absolutely fantastic. He went above and beyond, even taking the time to explain the ingredients in many of the sauces when I asked. And honestly, those sauces could be sold separately - they were THAT good! Every dish was exceptional, both in taste and presentation👌. The flavours were unique, refined, and wonderfully balanced. Definitely arrive hungry and savour every single bite! Tattu also offers great vegetarian options, which was lovely to see. Throughout the meal, Connor’s attentiveness and warm approach made our experience feel truly special. As incredible as the food was, it’s the service that will bring us back. A special mention for the sake - TRY IT! I’ve already gone on to purchase the Plum Ashaki Tai sake since our visit 😂 Overall, this was such a memorable experience with outstanding service.
