We visited Leeds for the weekend and had Sunday dinner at the cut and craft…. Unbelieveble food in such a nice establishment! We got the sunday sharing board…. More than enough for two big eaters. Could not fault anyhing thank you.

Honestly has to be one of the best meals I have had, I have had fantastic meals in the past but it is rare for every element of a meal to be as good as it is at Cut & Craft, from the extremely warm welcome straight into the fantastic bar staff, our waiter was friendly and polite, the food was obviously extremely well sourced and was cooked to perfection. The setting was beautiful as well, I genuinely could not recommend that they change a single thing. Every part of Cut & Craft's operation is perfect down to a T. I would highly recommend anyone anyone goes here! And I have to say for the quality across the board the prices are very reasonable too.

I decided to go away for a weekend to Leeds which is a city that is close to my heart. I absolutely love the atmosphere there, the fact people are down to earth and yet there are still really good restaurants and nightlife. The Cut and Craft was one restaurant that I really wanted to try. My friend and I who normally eat out at restaurants in London, including Michelin star restaurants, were absolutely blown away by the quality of the food, the range, the service, and the drinks. Not only that, but it was at the price point for Leeds not for London. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. Nothing was an issue, the atmosphere was fantastic, and they treated us like we were regulars even though it was our first time. To start we had caviar which is something I’ve had only for the second time in my life, but it seemed appropriate this weekend to try out at this restaurant given the range and the price point. The main steak we shared but I can’t remember which we ordered as it was a while ago. Hopefully you can tell from the photos! I didn’t feel like having a dessert because I wanted to keep the savoury taste for as long as possible. Everything was cooked to perfection, it just could not be faulted. Next time I am in Leeds I will 100% go again. Highly recommend.

Fantastic food brilliantly presented and full of flavour. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening here last night at the Leeds cut and craft. The hosts were warm and welcoming, the waiter we had was knowledgeable, professional and happy. We had the bread and scallops to start which were amazing and then we shared the chateaubriand 600g fillet to share which was cooked absolutely perfectly! To accompany we had the salad, mash and asparagus which were are tasty in their own way! Cocktails were great and we also had a lovely bottle of red wine. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go again!

Nice décor, but that’s where the good part ends. We sat on the sofa behind the bar — totally uncomfortable, like sitting too high and floating. Try to get a booth or blue chair instead. Starters were okay, nothing special. The mains were the real issue. Rump steak (medium rare) was tough and chewy. When we told the waiter, the response was, “Rump is always chewy.” Well, then maybe get better quality rump meat or a new supplier. The seabass with pearl barley was far too salty. When we mentioned it, we were told, “The chef adds salt for flavour.” Great, but less salt would be nice. When customers give feedback, listen — don’t just defend. Overconfidence in “everything is perfect” isn’t good service. Plus 12.5% service charged.
