Now I'm sorry but ........ If you want ambiance, Italy culture , family friendly , dam good food, florios is quite frankly the best Italian restaurant in the north of England if not the whole country. It's the go too to impress visiting family ! Go too for tourists and the no 1 place to eat if you are lucky enough to live here in Malton . And as I'm sick of saying please don't forget about the steak , yes British folk steak. My god is the steak good. And when I thought it couldn't get better they now have added an amazing value for money cocktail menu. Which I indulged in heavily. Italy in a jar in Malton.
One of the best authentic Italians I’ve visited. The minestrone soup is to die for and so is pretty much every pasta and pizza dish. The food and drinks service is extremely good, the staff are all amazing. Lovely ambience within the restaurant in general.
Great independent authentic Italian restaurant. Walked in just after opening time to try & book a table to find it almost full. That tells you everything you need to know. Very grateful they managed to squeeze me in. Large menu with plenty of choice plus a specials board. I had the ravioli and profiteroles both absolutely lovely. Will definitely be back when I’m back in Yorkshire and have already recommended to a friend who lives locally.
Visited for the first time tonight, what a lovely little hidden gem in Malton- we have been visiting Malton yearly for over 10 years and never spotted this restaurant! Would recommend booking as we did tonight. Lovely busy atmosphere and staff were friendly and accommodating, pizzas were delicious and the ravioli was lovely although a smaller portion than expected but still filling! We had the profiteroles and limoncini ice cream for dessert which were stunning (however at around £8 each if for example a family of 4 were to get a dessert each it would come to an extra £32 which imo wouldn’t be plausible every time for 2 profiteroles/a portion of ice cream for £8 a go!)
A very friendly atmosphere. Made welcome as soon as you enter. The food was amazing. It was just a chance to eat out. It turned into a great family occasion. Very busy. But you were not left waiting. The staff were polite and helpful, very quick and attentive.
