The New Derwent Bistro

Great lunch today! We were celebrating Mother’s Day early! There’s not many places open in Malton on a Sunday, so happy to find a nice bistro! The lunch menu was varied and we had our orders taken quite quickly! The food came in good time! Everything tasted lovely and fresh! We will definitely return again to try other dishes!!

Lovely visit with my mum. We opted for a light lunch so decided on two jacket potatoes. They were delicious and plentiful. Lovely find whilst out shopping with my mum. We will definitely call again.

What a beautiful little bistro in Malton, I visited on a busy Sunday morning for breakfast. The place was pretty full but I managed to get a table. I ordered their full English which was delicious. Not many places serve fried bread these days but it was the best I've had I will definitely be returning and recommending to friends and family

Our Customer Service Team attended our Christmas meal on Wednesday 17th December. From the initial correspondence nothing was too much trouble. Gemma advised us they normally don't open on a Wednesday evening but they opened up especially for us. One of our party is a vegan, and they catered for his requirements without any issues. Everyone's meal was excellent value for money. The presentation was amazing and ingredients were of a high standard. Service was outstanding and we would have no hesitation in recommending the New Derwent. Thank you

Came with a baby on a quiet Monday lunchtime when everywhere else was closed and loved it. Don’t tell the baby’s parents but the beer and wine were great! The staff brought an extra plate so that sharing a meal was easy and we both enjoyed an ample portion for two oldies. Would come again.
