ASK Italian - Scarborough

We recently visited ASK Italian in Scarborough and had a wonderful experience! 🫶 From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel very welcome. The team was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. The waiters were very polite, helped us choose the dishes, explained the menu, and regularly checked that everything was perfect. Their genuine care and positive attitude created such a warm and relaxing atmosphere and made our evening even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious. The king prawns served on a hot skillet were amazing — juicy, flavourful, and perfectly cooked. The truffle pizza was outstanding with a thin, tender a rich truffle aroma. The prawn pasta was delicate and beautifully balanced in flavour, and the Caesar salad was fresh, crunchy, and served with a lovely dressing. Great food, wonderful service, and a cosy atmosphere made this dinner truly special. A big thank you to the whole team — we will definitely be coming back! 🍝🦐🍕

We used to come here every so often about 10 years ago, so it was lovely to return for a Sunday brunch with my family. We arrived around 12pm and were pleasantly surprised that there was no wait at all. The service was very good—attentive and efficient, with little room for improvement in my opinion. Our food arrived at a steady pace, and everything was absolutely delicious. To start, we shared garlic bread, cheese fondue, king prawns, and calamari. For mains, we ordered a Salami Misti pizza, mushroom risotto, fettuccine Bolognese, and pollo Milanese. To drink, we had lattes, a mocha, Coke, and Sprite. Overall, everything was fantastic. I would highly recommend it for a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon lunch out!

Popped in here during our mini break in Scarborough. What a lovely little location near the harbour and a great atmosphere. Staff were great dvd really kind, polite and efficient. Food was really nice, as always and was really hot. I had the best king prawns I've had since I can remember. Beautiful starter. All in all a lovely family meal. Thank you.

Have enjoyed meals at Ask Italian, Scarborough a few times and have never been disappointed. The staff are exceptional. This time we were really well looked after mainly by the very pleasant Kasia, who was wonderful, clearing up after a wine glass went over, nothing was too much trouble, even though it was busy. Kasia really did make the evening more enjoyable. She really does deserve a huge pay rise, bonus and promotion. The food excellent and along with the drinks quickly served. The Chocolate Etna pudding was delicious. Can thoroughly recommend a visit.

On our recent short break in Scarborough we had dinner twice at Ask Italian and the food was superb. This is a very busy restaurant as there are only a few quality options in this area and Ask is quite small, but we managed to get a table fairly quickly both nights. The food is great, very tasty and filling and it's position near the harbour is ideal, this would be great in the summer with all the doors open or sitting outside. There is also a 3 course set menu which is great value for money. Service is excellent even though they are extremely busy. Thank you.
