Askim’s Turkish Restaurant Scarborough

Can't believe it's taken me so long to visit here! It was fantastic, really delicious food, good service and we took advantage of the happy hour deal too meaning it wasn't too harsh on the pocket either. Highly recommend, and I'll be back to try the full menu soon!

I went here over Christmas. The food was delicious, all the staff were great. (Sal was my guy). Cocktails were brought out all fancy, dry ice etc. Awesome meal. Brought bread out when asked and wasn't charged. Nice shot to finish too. Maybe a bit pricey, but worth every penny. Look forward to returning.

My wife and I really enjoyed the food here. The staff were friendly and welcoming and quick. The food arrived faster than we expected considering we ordered griled items. We loved the lamb ribs and lamb shank. The ribs were phenomenal. We appreciated the complimentary bread with sauces. The drink was a pleasant surprise in how it was presented. I would recommend this place for sure. Hoping to come again

It's my first timr herr at ASKIM'S. They helped my husband organise the birthday surprise for me. All the staff are friendly, especially Umut and Roman who took care of our table on that night. Overall expereince is amazing! Food and beverages were good, but the best is the service! Thank you!

My father in-law has been raving to us about Askim's for quite a while now, so my partner agreed to have her birthday meal here and I'm so glad she did. To say I'm a working class lad from Wakefield I've eaten at some very nice places including Michelin star restaurants that over look lake Geneva. I'm not comparing Scarborough to Geneva but I'm definitely comparing Askim's to Michelin star level food. I genuinely can't explain to you how good the food was because when food is that good it becomes an experience that's personal to you. The service was second to none and moved like a well rehearsed dance, full plates appeared and empties vanished, our drinks never saw the bottom without a polite member of staff asking if we'd like another. My children enjoyed the high fives and fist bumps from the staff, which made them feel at ease in a predominantly adult atmosphere. Oh and dont get me started on the dessert. Baklava with it's crisp shredded pastry, rose scented syrup and scoop of ice-cream should come with a warning label for addiction. It's no wonder that my in-laws eat here regularly because it's genuinely a very special place and I can't wait for my second visit.
