We went, as a couple, on Thursday night. No reservations showing available on their website but when we called they managed to fit us in. All 3 courses we ordered were fantastic, staff friendly and water on the table best I`d tasted. Brisket platter for a main course highly recommended, as was the rhubarb cheesecake. Not the cheapest restaurant but well worth the money.

This is the best restaurant in Scarborough. Fantastic food and great service. Locally sourced meat and fish cooked over an open fire.

One of those very rare restaurants these days -lovely food -superb service -still with those little extras -bread brought to the table -choice of butters -carafe of water on the table -not plain water but filled with lemons and berries for enhancement . The food was excellent both visually and in taste -another plus point -service excellent and atmosphere as it should be -welcoming and warm . Happy to recommend and we will be back again and again ........

A real treat. Superb food, service and friendly staff. Last meal after walking The Cleveland Way and the best meal in 9 days! Worth making a trip to Scarborough to have another meal! You must book. Cocktails great too and all good value.
