Authentic Stories from Diners
lovely cafe cum testaurant. great food and lovely view out over Scarborough. Visited just before Christmas and it was beautifully festively decorated.
Had the festive afternoon tea today. It was beautiful! Loads of savoury and sweet choices. Nice touches like real roast potatoes with proper gravy to dunk in!! Friendly service and lovely Christmas decorations. Go and have one, you won't be disappointed.
Probably the best fish and chips in Scarborough. Fish was cooked to perfection. I prefer not so thick chips personally but if you get good fish then I'm happy!
Great place for breakfast food was very nice Fab view over Scarborough. Not many parking places but definitely worth stopping by for breakfast lunch or just coffee. Staff were polite and friendly. The main reason we stopped for breakfast we had our dog with us and you are allowed in half of the cafe a bit disappointed as I wanted to sit in the window area with the view.
It was pretty busy when I visited around lunchtime so there was no chance of getting one of the tables with a view and some of the other tables were reserved. That said I was able to find a seat indoors and there was plenty of seating outside. I just needed a coffee and something light to eat; the cakes looked good but there was nothing gluten free and no crisps, chocolate bars etc I do think they are missing an opportunity here. I did look at the meal menu but thought it quite expensive-they are definitely going for restaurant rather than cafe. The seating area was clean and nicely decorated. Toilets are for customers only. The main entrance has small steps or a short ramp -not sure how accessible this would be for wheelchair users. I didn’t see any accessible toilet facilities but did use the Ladies with 2 toilets available, one up a step level. This would not be wheelchair accessible. Quirky decor in the toilet cubicles.
