Scarborough Tandoori Restaurant

Seriously one of the BEST Indian restaurants I have ever been to. Absolutely top class 10/10. I quite often avoid going out for a curry due to meat being tough etc but this place… wow, spot on. The meat was tender, the flavours were gorgeous, everything was ace plus the staff were lovely. Cannot find a single fault here. And a nice, complimentary shot of Baileys to finish the night off well :)

We had a fantastic experience at Scarborough Tandoori. The service was excellent from start to finish, with a genuinely friendly team who took the time to talk us through the menu and make recommendations. The absolute standout, though — and something that completely blew me away — was the slow-cooked Lamb shank in bhuna sauce. It defied all expectations and was quite simply sensational: beautifully tender, full of flavour, and cooked to perfection. My wife and I will absolutely be returning. Highly recommended.

Local people advised know coming here and turns it it did pay off. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. When asking for a spice level ( I do likea good hot food ) the staff made my meal specific to what I desire. And also had a good laugh. As always you have a nice starter ( poppadoms and some pickles). Continuing with absolutely amazing food. Still dreaming about up to today. The wonderful garlic jus watering my mouth....getting off the topic now... To sum up, 100% worth coming! 🥰👌

Exceptional food and service and why I keep returning to this lovely restaurant. I had poppadoms, pickle tray, onion bajis, mushroom rice and a chicken madras. The food was amazing and since the refit, has got better and better. I simply cannot fault the service either and thank them for their professionalism and friendly approach. See you again soon 🙂

Good food, good service, great atmosphere. Would be full five stars if there were some more spicy options. All the curries were mild except for the vindaloo. Asked if they could make another dish a bit spicier, and they said "no". Most restaurants would accommodate this. Otherwise a decent restaurant.
