The King Richard III

Great place spotlessly clean friendly staff that makes you welcome. Food quality is 100% spot on. We use this establishment most weekends through the year. It's a grade 1 listed building with great atmosphere. The bar is well stocked with a well kept cellar. We love summer visits have a great meal and spend time outside with a beer watching the world go by overlooking the harbour. A great way for family and couples to enjoy a day in Scarborough made up by the King Richard 3rd

We absolutely love this place, we have been coming for years. The food is always 10/10 and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. We have had most things off the menu and it’s all lovely. Highly recommend!

What a great place to pay a visit in Scarborough. The staff made feel very welcoming and showed us to our table. Even though it's the end of January on a Sunday lunchtime the place was very busy with customers enjoying food and drinks. Quite a few table also had reserved signs on so it's obviously a popular place for tourists and locals. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Scarborough.

I can't fault anything here, the staff were super efficient and friendly and the food was amazing.

Warm friendly welcome, excellent food at reasonable prices even though it's a waterfront location. The period building is well suited inside and out. The large Yorkshire puddings were to die for.
