Absolutely incredible food! Reasonably priced and you could see the love and care it’s put into the food Highly recommend

I'd received a voucher last year, as a gift from my daughter - who is a big fan of Orange Bird - but for various reasons, hadn't been able to visit until now. It was well worth the wait. Absolutely gorgeous, flavoursome food, and so different to your average restaurant. At first glance, you're a bit puzzled as to what's on offer. But the lovely lady who served us - who i think may have been the owner- guided us through the menu and helped us with our choices. For a Wednesday night the atmosphere was great and the service was excellent. You certainly don't need to save this for the weekend. Top class and deserving of the plaudits it receives. A lovely experience.

Had a fantastic meal. A delicious and thoughtful take on South African cuisine, with every dish packed full of flavour. The atmosphere is cosy and intimate, perfect for a relaxed dinner. The servers were incredibly friendly and kindly accommodated our walk in even though the restaurant was full, which we really appreciated. Standouts for me were the sea bream in curry with clams. Absolutely superb. The caramelised aubergine was another highlight. Would happily return.

Had heard great things and certainly everything lived up to the hype. Great vibe - music, decor is on point. Cosy but you’re not on top of each other. Very friendly staff. Food is top notch. Creative, brilliantly done and very reasonably priced. We had 3 smaller plates, 2 larger and shared a dessert. Was spot on. The masala flatbread, caramelised aubergine and the sea bream in particular were standout, but all dishes were great. Will be back

An amazing little gem, such a dazzling atmosphere and the most attentive and knowledgeable staff. The open plan kitchen gives you a glimpse of the magic that gets brought to the table. Incredible menu with such good wine offerings and not at all hard on the wallet. Would whole heartedly recommend this place! Will definitely be making another trip here!
