Boar burger was like warm, ordered without salad but still arrived with rabbit food in. Prawns were nice though. Chips were chip shop style very nice chunky and tasty. Gingerbread latte was lukewarm and could not taste any ginger, maybe he ran off again? Great layout of the establishment, great views out of the windows of the harbour. Staff were really friendly. Had a hello and goodbye. There were about 2 maybe 3 other tables in use so very quiet customer wise on my visit. Gutted didnt see Dracula, was told this was his favourite place to have a bite.
Ordered fish pie but they had sold out so had lamb kofta. It was not a kofta just a huge slab of lamb mince. Undercooked and tasteless. I never ate it and did tell the waitress who just giggled and said ow dear. A place to avoid lots of much nicer places to eat
Dog friendly place for really good food and drinks inn heart of Whitby. We had mussels, huge portions well cooked and with lovely chips and bread for sauce dipping 👌 cod and chips very good, calamari and chips again very good, friendly service great location lots of space, live Music on a Saturday night. If you are in Whitby I would definitely recommend a visit
A great place for seafood in Whitby. Lots of seats and dog friendly too. Really enjoyed the white bait, haddock fishcake and mussels. Highly recommended!
Abbey Wharf is a wonderfully welcoming spot with incredibly friendly staff who make the visit feel special from the moment you arrive. The views are absolutely stunning—worth the trip alone—and it’s great to see access for all, including wheelchair users. We tried the new Craven cod, and it was awesome—plentiful, satisfying, and beautifully cooked. We also had the salmon, which was epic, and the burgers, which the boys loved. I wouldn’t go so far as to claim it’s the very best fish and chip shop in Whitby, but it’s definitely up there. Highly recommended, especially for that amazing view and thoughtful accessibility.
