The Garden Room Bar & Restaurant at Sneaton Castle

​A stunning hotel with palatial architecture that is truly breathtaking, especially after dark. The grounds are beautifully lit, and the sculptures (including a magnificent eagle at the entrance) give the place a unique, regal feel. ​The food is absolutely superb—every dish was a culinary masterpiece. Although we were lucky enough to get a table without a booking, I would strongly recommend booking in advance as the restaurant is clearly very popular. The staff were professional and attentive. A perfect spot for a special occasion or a luxurious getaway.

Best Sunday lunch I have ever had. Well worth a visit.

Heard about The Garden room Bar through colleague who's family own it. Absolutely amazing food. Whitby crab aranchini, wood pigeon to start, with gammon and taste of sea for main. We was too full for the Swan pavlova unfortunately. Staff were prompt and great service. The grounds and xmas decoration was beautiful. We've been coming to Sneaton for 4 years and cant believe we havent been here before

We had a fantastic roast here with great local produce, I had the roast beef which is from their own here that can be seen grazing around the grounds it came with a massive Yorkshire and lashings of rich gravy. My wife had the veggie chestnut roast which again came with all the trimmings and a special veggie gravy, which was nice to see it wasn’t just an afterthought! We went with our slightly nervous rescue dog and requested to be seated in a quiet corner. They did just that and he was as relaxed as we were. Great food great service and a lovely setting. Just a 30 minute walk from the heart of Whitby so well worth a trip if you’re visiting!

Got a great time staying there with friends for dinner! The restaurant is stunning! located in a castle with beautiful views around. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and very tasty. Our host Arnaldo was very professional and friendly. I truly recommend this place to everyone who is going to Whitby or around.
