Authentic Stories from Diners
Fabulous tasting menu with unique tasting combinations in a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere; visiting here was a memorable and delicious experience enhanced by friendly and courteous service. Wonderful!
Absolutely fabulous, stands comparison with any fine dining experience elsewhere. Great food, paired with fine wines (if you wish). Attentive and knowledgeable staff. If I had any gripe I'd ask for the background music to be little quieter in the restaurant so that the description of the food/wines was easier to discern
This is special. Terrific lovely service from front of house. Brilliant wine pairing. And course after mind boggling course that shouldn't work but does. No wonder this place went from opening to one star in seven months....
From the moment of arrival being met by Victoria, to the service , food and accomodation words aren't really enough the describe the experience. The tasting menu was one of the best I've ever had hard to say a favourite but the scallop course was amazing the flavours were out of this world. I'm not really a desert person but the candid raspberry was great could have eaten a plate full. The wine pairings were paired reall well to each course and my daughter enjoyed the non alcoholic pairing. The rooms were elegant and wow I had a fabulous sleep. The little extras in the room were a pleasant suprise. Breakfast continued to tantalise my taste buds. Will definitely return. Thank you Joshua and team a credit to you all and worthy of the Michelin star.
Great experience - starting with the friendly welcome and showing us to very nice and comfortable accommodation in one of the cottages. Then the drinks in the bar starting the meal where we get to see the care and attention going to every course. An amazing non alcoholic pairing with every drink created to suit the food. Cheese course round the fire pit, a great night’s sleep followed by breakfast.
