Most sites are genuinely rural, which is the point. You'll need a car for most, and phone signal ranges from patchy to nonexistent. Hot tubs are common, firepits are standard, and the quiet is real. Peak season (May-September) books out fast, but autumn glamping in the Dales — wood smoke, falling leaves, empty trails — is arguably the best of the lot.
